Our branch of the PC (awaits worse mocking ) organised trial lessons for us and it was brilliant!!
My horse was really good about me clonking him with the stick thing (forgotten proper name) teehe
But unfortunately, I don't think we have as much money as you to actually be able to take it up seriously

Ah the usage of tres then......hmmm, that was very boarding schooly of you Ah the good olde pony club, yes my dear thats just not profesh! The "stink thing" you primatively refer to is the mallet....and no clonking the horse is not such a good idea. It is sad that money has such a part to play because there are many talented polo players who can't afford several hundred thousand pound horses for a few chukkas, shame really. Norm the PC play polocrosse don't you....probably to avoid knocking out all the poor little ponies
