For one of my subjects (accounting), they have changed the usual format(?) in the exam paper this year. Every year in each paper, they include a balance sheet or/and income statement which are usually around 20 marks each. So these 2 types of questions are seen as the most important and are what the most time is spent on learning.

This year fòr some reason AQA changed this and they ended up being small 5-8 markers. They went from being around 35% of the paper to just 10-15%. On here, there were mixed opinions, some people found it easier and some messed up due to the change so could that mean the lower grades (D,E,) would be lowered and the higher grades (A,B,C) would be higher?

Grade boundaries for the past few years out of 80.

    2015
    Paper 1 A:65 B:59 C:53 D:48 E:43
    Paper 2 A:58 B:51 C:45 D:39 E:33

    2014
    Paper 1 A:69 B:63 C:57 D:51 E:45
    Paper 2 A:60 B:53 C:46 D:39 E:33

    2013
    Paper 1 A:70 B:64 C:58 D:53 E:48
    Paper 2 A:63 B:57 C:52 D:47 E:42

    2012
    Paper 1 A:69 B:63 C:57 D:51 E:46
    Paper 2 A:64 B:57 C:40 D:43 E:37

Sorry it been bothering me any suggestions?

If the change in questions had a major impact then they may consider changing them but it depends on how all of the student did overall.
