So, I'm looking into sorting out my student bank account, but I'm a little concerned as obviously medics are at uni for 5 or 6 years, but most student accounts are only interest free for 3 or 4 years. What do you do in years 5 and 6 etc? I'm deeply confused.

If you can prove to them you'll still be a student, they'll keep it interest free until you've finished.

When you apply they ask for your acceptance letter as they need to see proof of the length of your course. It'll just carry on as long as you're a student. It's advertised like that since most courses are only three or four years.

They should last s long as you're a student. PhD students can use them for 8 years+, just like they can use other student discounts etc.

I've never seen one that only lasts 3 or 4 years. If there are some out there, don't use them. Obviously.
