About to fail resit of the first year

Hi, everyone. I failed one of the resit-exam of year 1 politics module.
There total 120 credits and I received 100/120 of the subject

What can I do next? Do I need to retake the module that I failed or I need to retake year one?

If you have failed the resit you will typically have to resit the whole year.

However depends on the university and their terms, you will need to ring in and find out or see your tutor.

Omg, so which means possible I need to ratake year 1?
Can I only retake the module when I study year2 ?

Well from the Uni's I know you have to pass all your units to progress into 2nd year, if not they do make you resit first year.

Like I said call up and ask your tutor, its possible your fail will be compensated (meaning you failed but because your mark was close to passing they will accept it)

You need to apply the unique rules of your Uni and no other.

If you have your results and it doesnt say, then you need to talk to your personal tutor or your department.

They can give you a condoned mark if you scored at least 30% and let you pass.

They can let you retake the year or module.

They can terminate your course.

Its all within their discretion.

If you dont undestand then book an appointment with a student advisor. print off the rules and take then with you.
