Ok so today I got back from my holiday in Greece. I went with my best friend. We both bumped into these Albanian boys a little older than us, they said hi...they were just being polite I guess. Then the next day they drove past our hotel slowly and they saw us on our balcony and waved again...we waved back and went inside. Then we were eating some dinner and they sat on the next table from us...They kept staring and smiling at us both every couple of minutes...they took pictures of us on there phone..without our permission..but anyway we got up and left and they followed us..it was funny at first..but me and my friend went out to a club and suprise suprise they came into and sat at the bar staring at us...then they came over, my friend was ok I think, because the boy she was talking to was not so possesive...but the boy talkin to me...he grabbed my arm and had and wouldnt let go..he kept stroking my hand to..and so I run off and went to my friend who lives there and she had ago at them...they wanted to take us to the beach by ourselves.but we went back to the hotel where the followed us again..but then left.
Basically...I cant stop thinking about it..I keep having to wash my arm and hands because I can still smell him..its so pathetic I know...I cant stop thinking about what could have happened. Anyone else ever been in a similar position or can give any tips how to sort this out in my head?

push him to the back of your mind, and try to be more intuitive when it comes to stupid perverts who think that staring at you makes you want to have sex with them.

I'm really sorry that your politeness gave them the impression that you were up for it. Some men are just arses.
Totally agree with you except for the pervert thing.

    What is a pervert?

AS far as I can tell, pervert means "guy"...

Sorry, but all guys except homosexuals like looking at girls...

Okay so these guys might have almost stalked them, but as far as I can tell you're called them a pervert for... being attracted to women.

Hmm we had a similar experience in Corfu, these 4 greek guys kept trying to dance with us in a bar and we told them we werent interested and they followed us all the way to our apartment and they started properly grabbing us which got quite scary. So my friend turned round and punched one of them in the jaw and we never saw them again......success!

The guys stalked them! Even if that isn't exactly being a pervert, that IS being a bit of a psycho.

I must say, Albos are, on the whole (In my experience) extremely unpleasant and socially introverted people. The older generation are much more people-friendly, but certainly the younger ones I've met are decidedly unlikeable.

In summer '05, my parents and I went on a cruise around the Indian Ocean. It's fair to say that this German receptionist (about 18 - I was 16 at the time) thoght I was rather hot. One night there was a fancy dress competition. I dressed up as a pirate and got completely drunk (my parents didn't want to get involved in any form of socialising with the lower classes, so i could get away with it. Also, marine laws mean anything goes). So, having fuelled myself with wine-a-plenty, I also won the fancy dress competition. The prize was free cocktails all night. Everyone commented to my parents at how irresponsible they were to leave me like that. *******s to that, though, because the general public were spurring me on to do silly things. Anyway, I was running around this cruise ship like a complete maniac, dancing, chatting, playing the piano, even did 3 karaoke goes. Apparently I was sitting opn ladies' laps, kissing them. I was rolling around going, "Do you remember me? I'm with the posh family!" I'll mention now that these were 30-something year old women. Needless to say, they bloody loved it. I mean, of course, women love teenagers slobbering all over them! ^o) Anyway, afte doing that, I leant over the reception coiunter and forced this German lady to kiss me. There were people to push me away form her. Luckily, she took it in good spirit.
The worse thing was, though, one lady I was kissing was ona honeymoon. They were a Scottish couple. Anyway, I knocked over her whisky and it fell into her open handbag (just bad luck!) to destroy her video camera with all her footage and pics on! Her phone also didn't work. Thank **** that the next day both started working again!

that stupid attitude is terrifying. By that logic, every time I flash a quick smile at a stranger in the street I'm asking for them to come to bed.

    And that's why I hope you're joking.
If the case was that all she did was flash a smile I would be terrified of the situation. If the case was however that she was engaging in a lot stronger flirting I wouldn't be as surprised by the guy's actions. Thats why I was asking the OP to explain more details about what went on. Sorry that I wasn't clear.

I suppose you also subscribe to the school of thought that a girl who goes into a club wearing a tiny top and a short skirt, gets drunk and flirts with a guy deserves to be raped? Do you grab at girls you don't know in an attempt to get them to have sex with you?

There's no excuse for grabbing someone to the point of it actually hurting. None.
Yep thats very true. I understand your point better now and realise I was wrong.

Nope, I don't agree with that school of thought and I don't do the unthinkable that you just suggested.

Have to say that from my own experience with Albanian men, younger ones at least, I am not surprised in the least about what you write. Most (a couple of exceptions; albeit they are the older ones) I knew were generally slimy and pervy, once they got an idea into their head that was it. Charming :\ So no, you wouldn't need to do anything to 'lead them on', seriously. They think it is their divine right to have the girl they want as they please, and in general the culture is so vastly different that there's just this huge clash. Things that are 'acceptable' (not necessarily legal) there are very definitely not over here.

The the OP: It is in the past now, nothing happened, so push it behind you

Edit: I apologise for such generalisations. I don't wish to offend anybody, and of course speak only from my own experience.
