Which is better for chemistry eg better facilities, staff, better research, better teaching, better labs, more prestigious. I have been on many league tables and have seen the ranking, but I want to know what do current students at these universities think is better.

Manchester. My friend is currently studying there after being rejected from Oxford and he absolutely loves it. Lots of opportunities for research and the support system is great

I would say Nottingham, I have a friend there who loves it (I am at Durham for chemistry would really recommend that!)

But what I would say is to go out and visit both unis/cities and get a feel for yourself everyone is different and prefers different things out of their uni
