Unless someone else has applied and recieved an offer is willing to disclose their salary on here, there is no way of finding out.

Generally accountancy firms seldom release salary info. Otherwise people would solely be doing it for the money not because they genuinely had a passion for the field. Benefits tend to be pretty universal across the board I'd imagine.

But for most accountancy firms, in say tax or audit it could range anywhere between £22k and £30k+ depending on the firm.

i know someone starting in tax at Mazars was earning much more in his first 3 years (28k+benefits) than a typical tax accountant at pwc (i think a poster here quoted 21k in first yrs wokring in leeds office), however i dont know if this would change post qualification and i guess pwc would look better if you wanted to leave in the future.

Do your training contract at a big 4 firm then move - you'll earn more money if you move firms and having a big 4 brand name on your CV will help you.
