Hiya, I am a Tibetan girl living in the UK. I have previously lived in India and there were plenty of Tibetans in my area but Tibetans are quite rare here in the UK. I don't know a single Tibetan around my age (I'm 18 now) in my city. I just wanted to find out if there are any Tibetans lurking on TSR. I never seem to meet one otherwise. It's so hard to bump into one so I'll just wait patiently until someone pops up. Just say hi if you want to get to know a fellow Tibetan

ahhhh, we are actually quite rare. we are endangered T_T No one has popped up yet T_T Well, I guess I should be more patient. All the other societies of other places from the world have so many people. I guess not a lot of Tibetans use TSR.

I'm a British Indian. What's your first language and what other languages do you know? What is the main language of Tibet? When did you last visit Tibet. When did you last visit India?

Hiya. My first language is Tibetan. I can speak hindi and evidently, English. Yeah, in Tibet, we speak tibetan but there are so many different accents in different provinces and their regions. Since China invaded, a lot of people speak Chinese too due to the massive influx of Han migrants. Unfortunately, I've never been to Tibet. I was born in India as a refugee. My grandparent fled Tibet in the last century when China took over. I came from India almost 3 years ago and haven't been back there since. I am planning to go this summer maybe before I go off to uni. I'm working full time (gap year) and saving up for it. I do have a number of Indian friends but they only speak Malayalam so my Hindi is getting a bit rusty. Haha. My reply is long overdue now.
