I'm looking to study radiotherapy at University next year. I wondered if anyone who is currently studying radiotherapy or has done previously have any book recommendations that will give me an insight into the subject. Thanks in advance!
Walter and Miller's Textbook of Radiotherapy - pricey but gives a good grounding.
CT Anatomy for Radiotherapy - an essential in my opinion.
A general anatomy book, you'll see a few recommendations banded about but just get one that works for you layout wise.
A treatment planning book. Either Dobbs and Barrett or Hoskin (you need the most recent edition as techniques do change).
I wouldn't bother too much with a physics book, there will probably be plenty of copies in the library and old editions are fine since physics never changes!

Bubble87 has already covered it. Walter+Miller is the main textbook for the course that covers loads of topics - physics, imaging, radiotherapy, oncology.
Do you have any questions about the course? 2nd year RONC student here.
@HellomynameisNev Is it worth getting an older edition of Walter & Miller, or is the most recent edition (2019) the only one worth getting?
I would always get the most recent version since the technology & treatment choices are always changing. Even the 2019 edition would have been written and edited during 2017 & 2018. If buying the 2019 edition I would definitely try and get a much cheaper 2nd hand version.
