Hey guys, as a first year LLB student starting this Sept. i had a few questions

    - When is the best time to apply/send these applications. Do you guys have a website where it says all the vacancies/contact details that accept these applications or any other relevant work experience.

    - As a first year, apart from applying to 1st year schemes and participating in networking, what else can we do that will give us experience/something interesting to put on our CV/applications when we're actually applying for proper VS/TCs later on post-1st year.

The title is "pupillage question" but you're talking about VS and TCs so are you planning on taking the solicitor or barrister route?

With regard to your other question, lawcareers.net and all about law are really useful websites to familiarise yourself with. To gain experience at your point, the best thing to do is usually send your CV and a covering letter to firms which take your interest. You could also try other means of volunteering, for example CAB is something quite typical for a law student to explore. Id also recommend when you get to uni to look at what extra curriculars you can involve yourself in to improve your CV and any potential applications
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
