Cameron's Resignation Honours

I don't get it. There's a big deal over him proposing honours for the people who were around him during his time as PM. Isn't that why they have these?

Hasn't every PM done this without anyone making a fuss over it?

Just about the only person shutting up about it is Corbyn (not surprisingly).

Well for one he is honoring his wife's hairstylist. These honors are handed by the Royal Family to those who have served Britain - how is doing up the Prime Minister's wife's hair good for Britain?!

Honestly couldn't give a toss.

Ordinary society is so far removed from the royals and current governments that it feels like a waste of emotion to even remotely care.

Honours should to those people who have made a real difference to mankind and society. Give it to those in the community who don't get paid for all the extra stuff they do way beyond their call of duty. *

This is making a mockery of the whole thing dishing them out like smarties to those that get this on top of the salary they are already getting for just doing their job and nothing more. Worse still make a donation and you are guaranteed an honour!
