I've always just had my parents address on my provisional/actual licence especially while at uni. Even when I passed my test I was in a completely different town and no one said anything. I got told the other day I had to change it to my current address - or risk a massive fine etc. Thing is I move all the bloody time, is there a limit to how many times I can change it? In the last 5 years I've lived at 5 different addresses - and will be moving again at the start of next year. I've sent off my car owner paperwork to be updated but seeing as they have to issue an entirely new drivers licence each time I move it seems such a waste of resources. Plus at least if it's at my parents and I forget to update they can always contact me through them, rather than it being registered to some dodgy houseshare I lived in for 6 months or something.*

It looks like you have to do it although I'm not an expert. Fortunately the online form doesn't look too cumbersome. Or you could just claim that you live in two addresses, you spend your weekends at your parents. etc.. Like I said, I'm not an expert, but it may just be something you have to do.
