So far, the movies I have seen this year which I would recommend are:

    - Me Before You
    - The Legend of Tarzan
    - The Secret Life of Pets
    - The BFG
    - Now You See Me 2

Either the BFG or Now You See Me 2 were the best but I can't decide which.

Oh definitely the book. I would highly recommend reading it before seeing it. I always find that if you watch a film first, it ruins the book for you. Saying that, it is a better reproduction of the book than many films are to their book counterparts.

I wasn't a big fan of the BFG, to be honest. It was too dark and depressing and not much fun to watch IMO.

Zootropolis is the only movie I've seen this year and it was absolutely fantastic, so that. In my opinion it is Disney's best film yet. The jokes are brilliant, there are tons of in-jokes and references to Disney movies such as Frozen, and other shows such as the Godfather and Breaking Bad, and the plot is very well layed-out so it's difficult to work out who the villain is if you're seeing it for the first time.

A warning for some though, the film has a large political undertone to it, leaning heavily towards an "open" viewpoint, and I'm aware many Britons and TSR members hold a strong "closed" viewpoint. I don't think it's too preachy, so it should be fine for anyone on the political spectrum, but inevitably some will enjoy it more than others.

I'm a big Captain America fan but I found the new movie quite boring but I did love the action, that was fantastic.

Batman VS Superman was boring and the new Indepence Day movie didn't live up to the hype for me.

Central Intelligence was funny but the movie doesn't really make much sense.

Deadpool was fantastic, laughed my ass off through out the whole movie.

Purge: Election Year was quite good if your a fan of the previous movies in the series.

Alice through the looking Glass was an awesome movie also.

Cant think of any others I've seen. I'm gonna see Jason Bourne today and Suicide Squad next week, so will see how they go.
