helloi have just left school and i am hoping to go in the RAF as a PTI, i am already an assistant coach in general gymnastics and have compeated for 11 yrs ant both reagonal and national levels, will this improve my chances?

    Hi Rach

As far as I know, you should be fine with your record of competing in regional and national gymnastics.

I think the main thing they'll look for is that you're extremely keen on sport in general.

I remember going to Cosford for a sports leaders award and speaking to the pti's about the course.

Its the school of physical training, so thats where you'll be going for your training after Halton, and they'll train you up so that you're profficient in a number of sports so that you can instruct.

    Good luck
