I'm in the middle of my EE at the minute; however, a matrix table I have used for Prim's Algorithm, if printed would amount to 116 A4 pages, is it appropriate to include this?? Can I include it on a CD or floppy disk or something??

    Thanks

You can always attach it as an appendix (which moderators are not required to read). This is what I'd probably do...

I have a feeling CD's, floppys etc. are not acceptable, should be clear rules in the EE guide, or the vade mecum, but my bet is that it's not OK.

Then again, if the matrix table is not really relevant you don't need to include it at all. I really know nothing about discrete maths, so wouldn't know its significance.

Would it be easier to draw the graph in different stages of the algorithm? (c.f. the example on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prim%27s_algorithm). Either way, put it in the appendix.

drawing the graph isnt the issue; its the matrix table itself that i used for Prim's that's HUGE

and the link leads to an article that isnt on wiki

Ah. Remove the bracket at the end of the URL. Would it be completely necessary to show the matrix as opposed to only the diagram? What size is your graph?

I'm not sure, I guess I could leave it out, but then I'd have very little to say :-)

The graph has 288 vertices :-) I did the whole London Underground system...and I nearly died in the process, 6 days to write the matrix and do the algorithm Cool result though; if not highly impractical!!
