I have noticed that in my university life; namely that anything that is not expected, original and unconventional is disregarded socially between the middle class students born in the UK - as opposed to those from abroad who are much more opened and less conventional.

Examples of that are endless, it can vary from telling someone your dream (if you are from the UK you are probably already like: why would you do that?) or telling someone you had eggs for breakfest and they would be like: do you often have eggs for breakfest (some would even ask ' do you have eggs for breakfest everyday? and I am thinking 'of course not you moron is that supposed to be a joke or sarcasm or euphemism of some kind?'). They of course extend to things much broader like your parents profession, earnings, holiday destinations or your social media. Why?

See? Now you're using my vulnerability to judge me and place yourself above me evolutionary by mocking me.
