I am just about to begin studying a PGDE in secondary English teaching, and for honours I studied English Language at Glasgow University (my modules mostly consisted of linguistic topics). I obviously satisfied the requirements in order to get into the course, I studied English Literarure in first and second year, and my dissertation was also based on literature, however, I can't help feel a little worried that I'll be at a disadvantage to a lot of people on the course who studied English literature at honours level. Will this be a problem? I'm worried I won't have read as much...
