Ive sent my application to ucas a few days ago its been checked by my referee and the message states on my ucas log in-
"Your reference has been completed and approved. Your referee/co-ordinator
will be able to send your application to UCAS from 15 September. After it has been
processed, you will be sent a welcome letter containing your application number to enable
you to log into ucastrack (the UCAS Applicant Enquiry Service). You will be able to use
the username and password you chose when making your application"

i assume you're applying to unis for this year (2007)... from what i've read it sounds like you might have applied through 2008 one.

That looks like a mistake on someones part if you are applying for this year. Contact UCAS ASAP to be entered into this years clearing. You are on the wrong apply system.
If you are not applying for this year, sit back and relax.

If you've applied for 2008 entry, that message has come up because you're not allowed to actually submit your application to UCAS until 15th September. If you've applied for 2007 entry, but you've only just applied, it means your referee needs to click the 'send to UCAS' button before your application can be submitted. Then you should be sent a Clearing passport and your application will be put on hold until Clearing opens on A-level results day.
