There is a guy I've met a couple of times, and I have developed a crush on him. he is incredibly sweet and kind, but he has a girlfriend, so obviously nothing can happen.

Coincidentally, we discovered that we're both going to be working in the same area as of September, and he said that we should meet up, and told me to add him on facebook.

I did, and now i'm wondering whether it's a good idea. Obviously it will only be as friends, but is it perhaps a better idea to keep a distance? I'm worried about falling for him and then it'll be too hard for me to be just friends.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being friends, in fact if you'll be working in the same place, he'll be more suspicious if you blank him/ act cold towards him. Just always have it in the back of your mind that he has a girlfriend and that nothing can happen between you two and focus your attention on other guys though
