    in hours!

    Before passing your test?

Iam confident after taking 16 lessons, that i would be able to pass, is that too less or too many?

Just like to know what is the normal average?

The DSA say an average of 45 hours of professional tuition and 22 hours of private practise.

    Something like 41% pass.

Personally, I've had 20 hours so far and I'm probably looking at another 10 or so before I'm ready for my test. I think.

Whhat 50 hours  , i think ur instructor must have been not so good

assuming its £20 per hour, i think that adds up to a grand, could have went to Australia and back for a week

I'd had just under 30 by the time I got my test, which I passed with 4 minors. This was w/o extra practice.
My mate on the other hand ended up with 50+ lessons as well as practising most days in his own car. He did pass first time, but with 12 minors...

14 hours... I'd actually learnt to drive beforehand, though.

At the moment i have had 13 1 hour long driving lessons and i feel like i am nearly there. I am pushing myself so that i can take my test soon. I can't wait to be driving.
I know i need a few more but hopefully i will pass in 20?

I actually stopped counting long ago, but I'd say between 50 and 60 hours over the course of about 16 months (not counting the many hours I've driven in my car with my mum!). My fourth test is tomorrow.

he made sure i could drive properly rather than be just good enough to skim through a 40 minute test and then be dead/crippled/or riddled with penalty points soon after.

How about 13 lessons and about an hours private practise

It differs from every person as you will see if you searched.
