Full time AND part time student

I am currently studying psychology at the university of Manchester (receiving a full time student maintenance loan), my question is can I also apply for a part time student loan at the same time? I am starting studying with the OU from September which I will be doing at the same time and understand that you can apply for a part time student loan to cover OU fees.
