Hi - I have several friends who I have been close to for many years now and I struggle with socialising abit so have not made many friends outside of education for example at work and stuff. But the friends I have are downers, they are always negative and have no motivation for anything in life, and I feel like they are bringing me down quite a lot. I would cut them off but I have known them for quite a while and I don't have anybody else who I'm close to. Have had these Freinds for the past 4 years and have not made a single friend/contact other than them in that time, even though I have tried

    Hi,
It's hard to let go off people whom you have been close to for years, but I wouldn't completely cut them out of your life, if you have been close to them for 4 years then you should be able to talk to them about this. Is there anything in particular that they say or do that brings you down?
Try and make friends with people from work x
