    Hi There!

I'm thinking of undertaking an intermission year due to academic reasons, The university I am currently attending does not have any study abroad exchanges in Southern California (Which is where I really want to study) and i'm thinking of undertaking an intermission year so I can study as an independent student at a college/university in california instead of going on a study abroad exchange done through the university.

I'm just wondering if I would be entitled to any student finance for the intermission year

    Cheers

    Tom

    Hi

If it's a year abroad offered through the University you are currently attending then you would be entitled to funding, however if you suspend your studies to study separately abroad then we wouldn't fund this.

    Thanks
