Hi, I have had a tuition loan approved without any issues at all and found the process quick and simple. I have since been told that even though I am studying part time I may be able to obtain a maintenance loan and possibly help with purchasing equipment and software because I am a single parent on a lower
income. I have had a look through my loan portal but cannot find a way to do this. can anyone give me any advice on how I go about obtaining this?

    Many thanks

There are no maintenance loans currently for part time students, I'm afraid.

    Hi studyingmummy89

Student Finance can only offer the tuition fee loan. You could speak with your study provider and/or the DWP to see if there is any other other help available.

    Thanks
