I want to do Computer Science.

Where could I get accepted with DDD in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Computing from the Isle of Wight College? I only have a C in GCSE Maths.

What would my best options be?

*also, D is Distinction at BTEC, not a D as in below a C. Had someone think that before.

Start with https://www.whatuni.com/degree-cours...mputer-science, enter your qualifications and then check individual courses.

Type your qualifications into the search box at www.whatuni.com and see what comes up. I think there's a BTEC option in there.

Think that site is a bit pants. For example, it tells me that I can go to the University of Edinburgh, but the University of Edinburgh website clearly states they only accept BTEC's in Art & Design, but there are loads more examples

Do you have any idea how many universities/courses there are and how wildly their requirements vary...?

I got D*D*D* but Brunel university London excepts DDD.

They are a London based uni with the full London student loan amount however the campus is Uxbridge so it is a bit cheaper. My budget leaves me £80 a week to go out and spend on whatever I want (partying etc)

The courses in computer science are very flexible.

In year 1 all student do the same course, then in year 2 it splits between computer science and business computing. Year 3 is a placement and finally in year 4 you specialise in a subject area, you can also change this up to year 3 so you don't have to commit at year 1.

    This explains it better.

many places would accept that I would think that you could actually do a 4 year Msc instead of just going for a BSc or Being if you do for any reason fail the Msc year you still have the Bsc but no many places will accept you Russel groups places like that.
