How much detail do universities go into when it comes to work experience?
Are we required to recall a lot of things or do they just look for a few things we learnt from it?
And what should we do if some of the work experience was a long time ago and it may be a little less clear in our heads as the ones we did more recently.

    Hi,
so in interviews & personal statements they want you to reflect on your experience during your placement. This means that they want you to talk about what skills you observed, if you learnt anything from it. You need to relate what you saw and learnt to your understanding of the course/career, and then show how that reinforced your decision to study Dentistry. Good points to talk about W/E includes:
    - the operation of the dental team
    - challenging nature of a dentist
    - communication skills
    - role of a dental nurse
Hope this helps, if you have any questions then PM me.
