Two police officers have been injured after being attacked by a man weilding a machete in Charleroi, Belgium.

The assailant is said to have shouted "Allahu Akbar" ("God is great" in Arabic) during the assault outside the city's main police station.

The biggest problem is we are to divided to know exactly who to blame.
To divided to mount a effective defense.
    To divided to do anything.
Best way to bring down countries is from within.

Europe is not safe from lone or organised terror from radical Islamic fundamentalists and our politicians have made that perfectly clear. Our politicians, the people whom we elected to protect us, admit that they have failed the country in their incompetency when it comes to mass migration and Islamic integration, both here and in Europe.

As much as this - like every other Muslim terror attack - should open a gateway for an open discussion about controversial religious and cultural issues, we should be prepared for nothing.

Our politicians will probably send out a tweet, offer "condolences" to those affected and then forget about it. It's about time Europe stopped appeasing political correctness and had a backbone about itself. The west is so obsessed about pleasing minority groups it inhibits open discussion and dialogue.

This is an isolated incident, probably to do with mental illness.

You can't blame Islam, the religion of peace for this. This guy ain't no Muslim

The good news is that, from what I've read on the BBC app, neither officer is seriously injured.
At least the perpetrator got shot for committing this ridiculous act.

I dont think being mentally ill and being an Islamic fundamentalist are mutually exclusive.

Shouting Allahu Akbar before a terror attack now seems to be a byword for the media to say "suffering from mental health".

Sick of a very real problem being ignored.

Yeah, you are right. It was probably the police offier accidentaly sliped over into his muchette. Of course the perpetrator was scared who he shouted Allah Akbar (this is like we say "Oh my God"). It has nothing to do with Islam as it does not have a concept of a holy war.

Its not a problem with Islam, this isn't people being radicalised and travelling to Europe to execute attacks. Its people being radicalised while practising islam and attacking from within

Are you saying Muslims have mental health issues?

It is amazing how people can say "these are isolated incidents" when IS called for its followers to do this exact sort of thing, and now we see weekly lone wolf attacks, and let's not forget that this is where both the Brussels bombing and Paris attacks were planned and launched from.

Because it tends to be the left who are shouting "they aren't a Muslim," " this has nothing to do with Islam," "Islam has never done anything wrong" whenever anything happens
