"An armed man has barricaded himself inside a restaurant in the western German city of Saarbruecken. A police elite counter-terrorism unit has been scrambled to storm the building."

Reports say the armed man is "covered in blood."

"Bild is reporting that the armed man ordered the restaurant staff out of the building and took no hostages."

    Making a hold-up gone wrong?

At first glance, this doesn't seem to be an act of terrorism.

    Sounds very unusual.

To be fair, this one could actually be down to mental health if reports of no hostages are true.

"The incident revolves around a family dispute and is not believed to be terrorism-related, local media report."

    Whose blood is it then?

According to the Daily Mail the guy is apparently the son-in-law of the owner of the restaurant. He probably attacked the owner.

    Probably his own

    Update:

Elite counter-terrorist police were NOT called. SEK are the section of the state police used when there's a difficult situation, or shots are fired, or possibly armed people have to be arrested or whatever.
Man was found sleeping, unarmed and lightly injured in the basement by the police.
    The man had no demands
Man is reported to be mentally ill (though, I am not sure where that info came from)
Man now in hospital and will stay in custody
Also, the police suspects personal reasons (no political or ideological motivation).
