Hey, I was wondering if anyone had applied to either Edinburgh or Glasgow Uni and got accepted? If so, what subjects did you take and what grades did you achieve? Edinburgh is so competitve but i would love to go there, if anyone is going there what kind of stuff did you put on your personal statment? Also Glasgow require the LNAT test to be taken, if anone has done this test could you possibly tell me what it was like and what it involved.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you

If you look on the course page for both these Unis you will see what the grade requirements are. That, combined with a score for your Personal Statement and your LNAT score (if applicable) will determine your ranking for an offer. And If a Uni doesn't specify required subjects for Law that means there are no preferential subjects. Unis are very up-front about this sort of stuff - there are no 'secrets' that you will only find out by talking to those who got an offer this year. Go to the Open Days - that is where the reliable info is!

You will be applying to up to 5 Unis with 1 Personal Statement - you cannot therefore tailor your PS to what someone else thinks maybe got them an offer from 1 specific Uni. General advice about Law PS here : http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/cont...nal-statements.

    Good luck!
