    Hey guys,

I am a postgrad student headed to Sheffield this September and it looks like staying at Allen Court is the best option I have.
I'm a little apprehensive about staying in the uni halls because I'm vegetarian. How easy or difficult is it, especially with respect to sharing a kitchen with other people?

If you start demanding people don't eat meat in front of you or other such things you will not be too popular. However, with that said if you bring your own utensils and ask people not to use them they won't. No one really cares if you are vegetarian or not from what I see.

Ah great, thanks! That's all that's really needed. I'd never ask someone to give up their lifestyle when I absolutely hate it when people ask me to give up mine! 😊

I had no problem being vegetarian at uni and I shared a kitchen with 9 other people in halls. I don't think anyone even noticed! We mostly cooked separately anyway as I didn't get a very sociable corridor!
