For future reference; would anyone be able to tell me whether or not being with social services affect confidentality? Would they tell your parents since you are with social services? Thanks in advance.

Most women use tests they've bought from a shop - own brand ones are much cheaper than the famous names and as reliable - so the issue of confidentiality doesn't arise.

If you can't do it that way, then it would be a good idea to know what the boundaries of confidentiality are for whoever you're dealing with. Someone getting a pregnancy test aged 11 is likely to be covered by child protection policies that override confidentiality, for example, whereas if they are 17, it's much more likely to be kept confidential.
