The Student Room Group

Additional maths content

What is the content for fsmq (additional maths OCR) if someone could give me a list of topics that would be great.
Thanks
So it's split into four main sections designed to give a nice introduction and seamless integration to A-level maths. These are algebra, trigonometry, coordinate geometry and Calculus.

Algebra
polynomials- remained theorem, factor theory, solutions,
algebraic inequalities
binomial expansion and using it with probability

Trig
angle ratios
trig graphs
trig identities

Coordinate geometry
distance between 2 points
riding midpoint o=between coordinates
finding equations of lines
simultaneous equations
coordinate geometry of circles
linear programming

Calculus
integration
differentiation
kinematics (suva equations etc)

here's a link to the spec if you want more info! http://www.ocr.org.uk/Images/76669-specification.pdf

I did the exam myself last year, so feel free to PM with any questions you might have as you start the course
