Hi guys, I've been applying to loads of jobs lately. From Tesco and Home Bargains to Call Centres, and I've had nothing back. They either tell me that there isn't enough time to assess me or they want a permanent contract or the job requires you to have your own vehicle.
Does anyone have any websites, job suggestions or want to point out anything? I get the minimum allowance from Student Loans, which means I'm going to be in a dire financial position if I don't sort something out.

Maybe print off your CV and hand it into local shops, restaurants or offices. Employers sometimes like to put a face to the name and it also shows initiative. You could also contact some local recruitment agencies and see if they can find you a bit of summer work. Good luck!

You have left it quite late to get a summer job. Firms will not want to take you on for just a few weeks. Your best bet is to look into temping via agencies. Getting a summer job is pretty competitive and you will sometimes have to secure them weeks/months in advance.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
