    hiya,

i know this may sound incredibly stupid but i have had issues in school regarding people making fun of me for my faith and other things which has led to low self esteem. long story short i am part of the youth alpha group and one time we did booklets where we wrote a message to the other person.
The messages in the book really helped me, sort of made me feel i might be worth something but I've lost it...and i think it may have ended up in the bin a while ago and am now genuinely upset
how do you get over this?

    thank you xx

I am sorry to hear that - it's really painful when you lose something, especially something significant. There's no immediate way of getting rid of that feeling, but over time it should subdue itself. Perhaps you can help by writing out what you remember in this situation.

The one thing I would say is, unless it's unavoidable like a girl wearing a hijab for example, is to not let anyone be able to tell what faith you are. Maybe I didn't go to a particularly religious school (it was Roman Catholic)) but I felt that no one really knew or cared what faith anyone else was, and it wasn't a thing that others made fun for.

As SeanFM said buy another notebook and write down what you remember from the lost book and then carry on with detailing stuff in this new book
