Is he being mean...or am i overreacting? watch

So since my boyf split up with me for no apparent reason about a month ago, he's kept in contact vaguely...random texts/bebo comments...but last week he phoned me to ask if i was going to a house party that turned out to be one of my best friend's other friend from her school. My best friend only knows my ex through me and the girl that had the party, nor anyone there knew them. However they went and now they are all friends and meet up all the time and keeps calling me to ask me if im going to her random partys. They found out about the party by looking at my friends bebo where she had left a comment saying she was inviting you and myself and our other friend from work. I dont no if im overeacting or he's trying to mess me up. I told him i needed distance from him and he just doesnt let me get away from him. Am i overreacting???? I don't want him back but it hurts when he talks about all these girls to me, and i've not really got to that stage of getting with other guys. Thanks for any opinions/advice from people been in a similar situation.

Sounds like he's just trying to be nice after a breakup.

It does sound like you are overreacting just a tad, but hey never mind. Relationships are a sensitive issue, and ending them is even more so. Worst comes to worst, just kick 'im in the groin

If you are not comfortable just tell him you don't want to go to the party. I can't see how the guy is being a jerk though.

Nor can I. Looks as though you are strictly in a friends capacity now.
