With results day in 9 days, I am not exactly sure what I am hoping for, as I only know the overall A Level requirements for my courses.
I am hoping to study English at Nottingham, Cambridge, Exeter, Durham or Warwick, which all have asking grades of A*AA - AAA.
On results day this year, I'll receive 3 results; Drama AS, Islam and Ethics (which make up 50% each of my Religious Studies AS). My other subjects are English and Psychology, the latter being self taught, but are A2 courses.
What is the lowest I can really get away with getting on the AS results day and still reasonably apply to my universities of choice.

That is a difficult one. Do any of your unis have AS requirements? If not then it's more a question of what do you realistically think you'll get in your A2 level courses that'll help with the entry requirements and what AS grades do you need to convince your teachers that you'll get the A2 grades you need.

That's a good point... so I'm guessing just hope for the highest:')
