Right, let me explain. I'm 15 (male) and have lived in the UK for my entire life (except Ireland for a bit when I was about 3), and am home-educated. Now, I'm not desperately usual. I have earrings, dyed hair, and glasses, and I skateboard, game, read loads, bodyboard, and am obsessed with politics and the environment. I'm a bit weird. I only get along with people like me (go figure) and there aren't very many of them. As I'm home-ed, it's near impossible to meet people, and where we live isn't the most alternative area. My parents want to move to France (Bordeaux) because of Brexit, and I'm understandably anxious. Basically, what do you suggest? I speak barely any French, and would actually like a social life. I'll stay home-ed, so do you think I'm actually likely to meet anyone through sports clubs or whatever? My parents are being typically stupidly optimistic and not taking "it'll be crap" for an answer, so I'm not really allowed to discuss with them...Advice please!
Do you like carrot cake?
