I am proposing a discussion about a recurrent tpic here in Brazil, regarding the foreign language teaching in our public schools.
Assuredly, it is not a new notice to anybody which work or have contact with the area we are mentioning, that our foreign language teaching in public schools is far from being conidered adequate. Taking as an example, we can surelly say that, thepart of the mentiioned students that reaches Universities have a very low level of the foreign language studied in public schools. In adittion to that, we have to emphasize that this problem is not essencially found on the foreign language learning, but, with rare exceptions, in all areas.
Having this in mind, I propose you all to expose what do you think would be an effective, or effectives changes that our govern should put into practice to change this reality? Thank the interseted ones for participating.

In my point of view, there should be a more participative government role, fostering teachers to give their best in teaching because they are helping create a critical student to act positively in the world and change it for the best.
