I'm not 100% certain on what type of career I'd like, but I love English & R.S and are really interested in people and their views. However, I'm not really all that interested in politics but more how we as a society function. I think I'd like to either go into teaching/ publishing but as I said Im really not sure.I'm just about to go to college in September and I'm having doubts about my options - which is fine because I can always change them. Ive chosen to do:
English lit & lang (they were not offered separate)
    Religious Studies
    Sociology
    Media Studies
I really want to go to a good university but Im not sure which exact career Id like to go into but it could possibly be related to the media - hence why I've taken media. I get that you dont need media studies to work in the media but I'm creative and would love to do a more enjoyable subject but I dont know if this really is the best option in terms of uni. Any suggestions on whether I should change it? If yes what to? I have been considering physcology but Im not sure! Thanks!

In my opinion, you should have at least one A level subject just for the sake of genuinely enjoying it if you have the space for it. I was debating whether I should do A level performing arts because of its low reputation, but I took it and now I love it. Do it because you enjoy it. Anyway, RS and english will be well-respected by universities, as you have to be good at formulating ideas into essays, something that is essential in uni.

If you think you'll like Media, take it! You have English if people who think certain subjects are superior try to say you shouldn't. I took Sociology, Psychology and Film Studies and got offers from Cardiff and Birmingham among others plus it might not be necessary but it might be useful to talk about in your PS 😊

(Cannot recommend Sociology enough btw, it was probably my favourite subject by the end of A2)

    Good luck 😊
