I am interested in doing a uni degree in accounting, however I am trying to find out what the benefits are for a degree in accounting as from what I understand, once you come out of uni you have to then go onto somewhere like the aat or acca to do another 3 years or so of study. So I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what are the other benefits for doing the accounting degree? or even what the process is after coming out of uni?

Once you finish uni you get a training contract (job) which allows you to work and also pays for your study etc... Most likely you will do ACCA ACA orCIMA.

By doing a degree in accountancy you can reduce the amount of tests needed to complete these professional qualifications significantly unlike other degrees which might give 0-3 exemptions.

If you definitely want to do accountancy then do an accountancy degree.
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
