    Hey!

I've got an offer from a really, really good uni. For 2 A2s ( had some serious extenuating stuff.

Anyhow, I SCREWED up one of my exams ( potential U, no joke, worst exam of my life). I'd be left with A*B. I'd want to reapply to good unis but those grades are t really good enough, I'd really need to do more A Levels. I'd also be out of school. How would I put my application back together ( talking about unis like Oxbridge).

Thanks guys, hope results day treats you well x

Wait for results day, but also now think about what may happen if you get, say, A*BU, and what you need - is it that you have to resit the U and the B to be able to get into those top unis, or is there another more relevant subject that you can study (perhaps independently) to apply again?

I'm not sure about how it works with Oxbridge and extenuating circumstances so that's something you should check to make sure you're not wasting your time.

    Good luck!

Hi I'm only doing 2 A Levels, so it would be A* B. Cambridge likes high UMS, that's how I got this offer. So I'm not sure if I were to reapply, should I apply for 2017 entry with the intention of doing the full a level in one year with predicted grades ( like how people apply with with predicted A2 results, but I'd do AS and A2 together) or should I wait another year and apply after getting good grades in those a levels so I have more respectable grades? Can't people skip AS now or something?
