    Hiya,

So i lost my nanny 3 months ago to cancer. We was really close. Im struggling to find a way to help me... I don't want to talk to my family about this as they are going through the same and I don't want to upset them anymore.

    Any suggestions?

Hi there. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry to hear how much you're struggling. Have you tried art, music, or anything like that? You should visit your GP and see if you can be referred to any bereavement services in your area, and maybe you'll be able to get a referral to see a counsellor of some sort. I hope everything gets better for you soon!

Thank you. I know i do. I haven't tried that but i will do. I have a counsellor for other things already but nothing seems to be working right now. Thank you for the advice.

There are bereavement services around that are separate from counselling, and there are counsellors that specialise in bereavement and grief. It's definitely worth a try!
