Stayed at home all day today, and hating it.

Im posting as anon because im afraid someone I know might see this since they use this forum.

Anyway ive been all day today and im totally hating it, I borderline want to kill myself. Normally I go out at like 2/3pm and cum back at 7/8pm and everything seems to be good at home. But recently my dad told me to stay home more often and its also a really depressing weather outside so I decided to stay inside but im so hating it, you can call it borderline depression because I just feel like breaking the window and running out. I never realised how boring my family is? or is it just the weather (its raining and its dull)? Why cant I get on with my family? and will this change with age? (im 19 at the moment). I told all my friends yesterday that I wouldnt be going out anywhere today, but I cant stay at home for some reason?

Is anyone else in the same boat? and so what advice would you give? also how do you fill your time at home?

What do you usually do during the day?

Try picking up a hobby - When i'm at home, I paint/sculpt, play computer games with my brothers, or...well, play wii.

I love my house.

And my family.

Simply seem really enthusiastic at home and your family will as well...thats what I've kinda learnt.

I didn't go out at all today, mainly because it was raining, instead whittled the time away doing useless stuff on the Internet. It was great.

When i stay at home for the day i sit online/watch tv/talk on the phone, i need a day at home every few days just to relax and have space from people.

So you stayed home for just one day. It isn't such a big deal. Just go out tomorrow instead.

That's what you're supposed to do on a Sunday! Pretty much every Sunday I just stay in, in fact most days I do, and whilst it can get boring doing nothing in the holidays, it doesn't get me down to a great extent. Just go out and do something, go to the cinema tomorrow or meet up with some mates. It's no big deal.

Is the problem really that you were bored when you stayed home today, or is it something else? Because this seems like a bit of an overreaction if that's all it is. What do you mean that you don't get on with your family? Did you have an argument, or were you just a little bored? Because their only role in life isn't to entertain you so that's not a sign of you not getting on.

It's probably just because it's raining. Sometimes I get pissed off with my family too but that's families for you. If you want my advice, stay away from them if you can until you find their company more bearable.

That's not really a problem in my opinion though, more a complaint.
