Need proof of work experience or not?

Hey guys,

Just done my GCSEs, I've done about 4-5 accounts of doctor shadowing, sitting at the GP clinic, going abroad to see how poor hospitals function. And during these I always asked for a certificate at the end so I can bring them with me when I have to eventually apply for uni (medicine btw ).

Yet my friends tell me you don't need any proof and they say they are going to lie about their work experience. I just want to know, the universities do validate everything you tell them right?

Also I have an online ecommerce business, how do i get proof of I handle my own customers etc.? as i believe that counts as work experience if I'm not mistaken?

thanks guys, still another 2 years of schooling though! xD

They do not need a proof of anything, it is an honour system where they might ask you questions about it and if you lied, that would be quite obvious. As long as they have the reference from your teachers they give you the benefit of the doubt
