    Hi everyone,

There's a new Home Bargains store opening up where I live and they're advertising job vacancies. Starting September I will be studying the second year of my A Levels, so I can't have a job that requires their part time employees to work a lot of hours. I also need a job with flexible hours due to my college timetable.

I'm just wondering if anyone here has had experience working at Home Bargains as a student - are they student-friendly and do they respect that you have college work to do?

It's Home Bargains, not some life changing career move.

You go in, they teach you the 'vital rule of stock rotation', you put on fake smiles for the customers, then you go home, and cry.

Yeah, I know what it's like to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asking if they are flexible with their hours and are suitable for a place for a student to work (due to the workload of A Levels).
