I hope everyone got the results they were expecting yesterday.
I was just wondering what subjects YOU as a Scottish Medical Applicant (for 2017 entry) will be taking in 6th year (2016-17)!!
p.s. I'm a little confused myself so I'm just looking for some good subject combinations.
Only looking for people sitting SQA exams next year. Thanks. :0
I would include AS levels and stuff but I don't really understand them. XD

Hi I have just received my higher results on Tuesday also. I am now able to apply for medicine after receiving the required grades. I have spoken to some of the universities and they require (if given a conditional offer) you to sit advanced chemistry and biology. Most people I have spoken to have been given an offer of requiring B's in both these subjects. I have also chosen to sit another higher in business but the universities do say that they have no preference as to what that other subject is and that they are only looking at both advanced sciences.
Hope this helps.

You shld do two to three advanced highers at least. And defo ah Chem and bio and then I did the science baccalaureate and an ah of personal interest which was French which I spoke about at the interviews but you can do a higher instead of an advanced higher to meet ur conditions.
