I "dated" this guy for 6 weeks when I was 14 but chickened out on going on a date coz I wasn't ready. We have managed to stay friends and we just get on so well. I'm contemplating getting back together coz we seem to compliment each other nicely, and we're doing the same gap year programme, but I think he's moved on.

I'm not sure of it but I did hint at going out a couple of years ago and he wasn't sure... in the end he said no. Also he told me that he fancied someone else several months after that incident (he didn't fancy her at the time) but nothing ever came of it coz she didn't like him. They stayed friends and I'm not sure if he still likes her, though he told me he doesn't.

    Any advice?

Given that it's been a few years and you were together when you were 14, I don't think there's anything wrong with it if you're interested. Talk to him and see what happens.

    Go for it (:

I dated my current bf for 9 months then we broke up for a year. I saw other people and so did he. Got back together as we got on so well and now its been 3 years.
