Basically, I gave the CIE A level and my result (cie result comes out at 11 august) came to 260 tarrif points. My firm was 320 tarrif points and insurance was 280. I only have the online version of the results and Ive sent it to both of them. Problem is track doesnt update automatically for this, what can I do to speed things along. Should I call my insurance choice and ask if theyll let me in or if theyll just reject my application so I can start clearing. Help, need some advice.

Call up your insurance and if they don't accept you then go through clearing.

I think you may have to wait until the 18th for all the clearing spaces to be announced.

Like the user before me said, give them a call and see what they say. Its really worth giving your firm a call just to confirm with them aswell (just in case!).

Best of luck to you - let us know how you get on!

Everything is pretty much on lockdown from now until 18th.

Track will update again on the 18th. Unis will be getting A-level results from the weekend and updating their end of
Track next week along with updating the Clearing listings.

The insurance will not know at this point necessarily if they will put you into clearing because they don't know everyone else's results at this stage. It's very likely they'll ask you to wait. You also can't apply through clearing via Track until track is updated and you have been allocated a Clearing number if you don't get an unconditional place.

You can still research places in clearing via the UCAS course finder, none of it is embargoed this year so unis are constantly updating it as places becoming available. Check this week and definately at the start of next week as unis start processing the results.

Thank you all for your amazing replies! I contacted my insurance and they said that they cannot work on these results as they are provisional, and that they will contact me on the 18th of August when they officially release all a level results and that the offer will be displayed on track, if they decide to give me one. Thank you for the very quick way you guys responded 😊

And you may still be accepted by your Firm anyway.
