I am just going into year 12 and I would like to know what work experience opportunities there are for me and where I should apply.
Any tips or any firms that are giving out work experience?
Most of the ones I have seen say to give a CV but I don't really have any past jobs/ work experience.

This might be a good starting point if you are state school educated: http://primecommitment.org

And just create a brief CV. They will want to just see you can write reasonably well. It only needs to include your academics to date and any volunteer work/extra curricular stuff you have done. I wouldn't expect it to be more than half a page of A4, maybe 2/3rds with some clever formatting/spacing.

It might be worth getting in touch with a number of local solicitors firms — if you drop an email to their general reception or give them a call, they will often be happy to take on school students for a few days experience. Your school may also be able to assist.
