i've just finished year 13 (so am technically still in full-time education) but the school year for my school finishes this week...
i know dental treatment is free whilst in full-time education...but i need to know does this count through the summer holidays as well?? and until when?
It should do so long as you will continue after the holidays with something, but dont quote me on this. You should check with your local dentist, just give them a ring. On the dentist thing, my advice is close your eyes, sit back and force your self to relax, its not as bad as you build it up to be, i was terrible my time a few months ago, after several fillings dont mind at all.

lol...i dont have a fear of the dentist...i was just mocking the normal subject matter of these threads...but i'll keep the advice in mind anyhow
Okay, it is free untill you are 19 so up untill your 19th birthday you can claim for free dental care, and yes technicaly you are still in full time education.
Tom Tom You need to look at your income in all of this, if you dont earn alot you can get help with costs or even free NHS treatment, to do this you need to send off a form to check what exactally you are entitled too. Any dentist in the area will be able to provide you with one of these forms. Or you can request one here
Well, I have just got mine cert for free treatments, which I actually applied like 2 years latter than I was suppoed to, coz I am now 21. But thanks god I had not been the any doctor in the past 4 years... until recently.... I have been put on some long term-ish meds... so it helps a lot... obviously... Anyway, this is not the point... the point is most of the full time students are entitled to full help in health care, doesnt matter if you are at college or uni. (As long as your dad isn't Bill Gates, I would guess...) <- this is a joke of cause.
